I went ahead and bought 2 sets from summit of pioneer style quick disconnect total was 19$ I like the pioneer style disconnects better they are easier to connect went without 3/8s because that's the size of my hoses to my 3rd function so 1/2 wouldn't help I would need the adaptors. The only implement I have is the grapple so I think it should be fine One make connector was going to be like 12$ Without the caps so I figured I would splurge and get new ones with the caps for an extra 5$ lol

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice. Got my new 3/8 summit pioneer style connectors and installed them and man is it 1000 times easier than the skid steer connectors I had. No more fighting with trying to push as hard as I could to connect. Just pull back and click. So much easier. Well worth $19 should have done this years ago

I have the pioneer type on my 60" wicked grapple. No problems at all.
I use pioneer on a 60" grapple also. These quick connects have been used for decades on large tractors in huge hydraulic applications. As mentioned built up pressure on either the tractor side or the grape side can & will cause. Just prior to connecting activate 3d function on tractor several times w/ key on, engine off to relieve pressure on tractor end. Then with pioneer put old towel or cloth on end on male fitting & tap the poppet at end a few times to relieve grapple pressure. Then connect fittings.
