My buddy Jeff fixed my generator. I don’t remember what was wrong.

19970325 Tuesday

Built wall extensions for FR extension.
Very windy.

Not sure why, but on the Family room extension, I extended the height of the walls so the ceiling starts at the top of the 2nd deck, instead of being the same as the 1st floor ceiling. Basically raised the base of the FR vaulted ceiling a foot.
So inside it looks like this.

Yes, and it cranks open.

Had one in the master bedroom also, wife hated it there, I liked it. It leaked, so when I reroofed a couple years ago after hail damage, that one was removed.

When I talk about the FR extension, I’m talking this area that the porch wraps around to.


I just took the skylight pic sitting in my lazy boy just inside that door.

After work:
Installed the wall extensions.
Installed scaffolding and installed ridge for the FR extension.

Took off hr early
Install rafters on FR.
Wife helped 2 hrs.

Here I am on the scaffold(2 boards 9 ft up spanning the 10 ft distance)
