Install window molding in FR
Front door oak molding.
Connect Sink drains

FIL installing light glass.

19970915 Monday

After work
Work on heating system water lines.

I had 2 zones, upstairs and down. Both had a hot water heat exchanger mounted on the air handler outlet.
When thermostat called for heat it would open zone valve and start the boiler and it’s circulating pump. Could never get zone valves to work right, and usually kept both manually open so water would always flow in both zones.

19970916 Tuesday
Took off work early.

Installed side shot powered exhaust for the oil burner.
Neighbor hooked up boiler water lines.
Wife stained stair railing spindles.

Front living room (I call it the music room) has baby grand, organ, and my guitars.
No stair railing and no closet door.

It’s really close at this point.

My heating system was a last minute change which was a last minute install.

19970917 Wednesday

Took off work a couple hrs early, but didn’t write what I worked on. I’m sure it involved trim or baseboard or staining.

Family room. I’m sitting in recliner in front of those doors right now


They were spreading my topsoil that day.

19970918 Thursday

Took off work
Final grading of the yard
Work on boiler. Electric to boiler and side shot power exhaust.
System is interlocked so the side shot so it must be running before boiler will ignite.

Great pics!!! I like how you did the back without a retaining wall. I had one on my previous house. Just a pain to keep tidy around.

19970919 Friday

Called for final electrical and plumbing inspection for Monday.
Called for final bank inspection and draw.

My garage is now on this side of the house. I reused this little deck on the back side of my garage.

19970920 Saturday

Finish window trim
Screw cabinets together
Bought more spindles for stair railing. Some I bought were wrong length and I already stained them.
