This is to inform all my BX friends that I am leaving the one flat front tire group

Slow leaks on both front tires on the BX2660 since purchased September '08. Put a tube in left tire April '09, and have only added air once since then, probably due to last year's cold winter.
Finally this week I took the right tire to get a tube; I've gotten so tired of pumping air into the tire every two weeks.
Glad to finally take care of this issue.

This old Kubota found a new home where there are Bodark thorns and stubs remaining from bush hogging (big mistake) and has front flats like never before. It will be getting item 9DR4 from Gempler's. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Both front tires on my 2008 BX25 need topping up every time I am at the cottage. One time the worst one went flat and broke the bead, so I took it in for repair and they used the usual goop on the rim, which worked for a while, I guess. Now, however, they both leak down continually.

Guess it is time for tubes, but it's cold up there at the cottage!

Are yours turfs? I have R/I4's on my BX25 and no flats. It was the one front turf that went flat on mine.

I'm beginning to think it's a Pennsylvania problem, with so many people from PA posting with this problem. Including me.

pa. is full of long thorn trees- was cutting firewood once, came home with eight sticking in one tire-looked like i tangled with a porcupine

John - My new Bx25 had a front right tire start to lose pressure after 4 or 5 days. Took it off and back to the dealer who found nothing wrong ( was actually holding pressure when I took it in ). He cleaned the bead and injected some sealing foam. Hasn't leaked in 2 weeks.

So you can say I'm just an Extra Board to your "one flat tire club":laughing:

as noted prior I use Slime since tubes suck and so does tube-less. My old BX22 did not have these issues that my BX24 does...What changed Kubota?

If not for Slime, I would be out of service..

I too used slime and never had a problem since (8 months or so). I tried tubeless, tube, etc...nothing worked. I slimed both fronts, all good.
