Not really. I had the grade lowered about 2 feet when I built it and can't go any lower. The barnyard is sitting essentially on top of a hill. The door to the hay storage area is upteh sidehill from the sheep shed. If the sheep shed floor was lower, I'd have more overhead, but the hill would be worse. If it was higher, I'd lose overhead clearance. Also, altering the hill more would make the loop drive through the barnyard more interesting than it is now. It is NO fun backing a trailer uphill in a manure covered barnyard with a 2wd truck. Both entries to the barnyard are downhill from the barn door.
