I was going to use disc bedders but I already had the “S” tines and shovels and you really need 4 disc bedders to make it work and I did not want to spend that much until I new it would work and most discs that I found were of poor quality. The “S” tines and brackets are John Deere, The toolbar is 2x2x1/4 tubing that I already had and I mounted the toolbar with two 2” receiver hitches turned upside down the toolbar is removable just take out the pins. The toolbar is bolted to the hitches and the receivers are welded to the tiller. My tractor has TnT so I can adjust the depth but the shovels are about a 1” above the bottom of the tiller tines plus the “S” tines flex so they do not keep the tiller from going in the ground. Took about 5 hrs to build. Heck next year I am going to try and mount two corn planters in the middle for single pass planting. Oh yeah and another cool thing I ran off some 36” wide beds for my vegetable garden then took out the center tine and backed up about half way into the 36”s and made some 72”wide beds they blended together about perfect, Patent Pending.
