Nice design.

What are the measurements of the S-tines and the sweeps?

Agri-Supply has two sizes of tines on page 20 of their catalog, 32" x 10" and 42" x 12". I would think the lighter duty smaller size would be perfect.

Awesome, Thanks for sharing. I have some of those parts around here, that looks like an excellent project for them.

Where'd the "s-tines" come from? I'm searching for 4 of them, just about that size>

My "S" tines are from a John Deere 960 field cultivator. I had ordered 4 tines and brakets years ago to build a chisel plow but ended up not using them. I had to cut down the tine mounting brackets because they were made for 3x3 tubing and I had 2x2. I just cut 1" out and welded them back together.

I was thinking the same thing. I would love to have soil that tilled up that well. Mine does great for what clay can do, but man that is nice.

How many passes with tiller alone does it take to get that good a bed? I have the same tiller, only 48" for my bx23, and while I dont garden, I am impressed with the results of the soil.

I am curious as to why the outside shovels are cut in half?

Wall, Great Job.... I was looking at those same receiver hitches this weekend for my future gauge wheels. My plan is to weld those hitches to a flat piece of steel which in turn can be bolted to the rake OR any other implement.. From your pictures I couldn't tell if that plate was welded to the Tiller or bolted on /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Nice Job,,, Sarge

Is tractor having any difficulty in pulling the both; tiller and s-tine cultivator? Let me contribute to your patent pending implement; you can replace its sweeps by ridger sweeps which are adjustable, the width of each sweep is adjustable. This is ridger - not seen, but there are bolt/screw system behind the sweeps that can adjust the width of the beds.
