One thing to compare in tillers is the number of tines per row. Some only have 4 and the higher quality ones will have 5. I thought Landpride was chain drive. I think gear drive are better as you don't have to worry about adjusting the chain tension which is really guess work as you cant see the chain to determine if it has stretched. Thickness of metal on the frame and shields is another thing to consider along with total weight, a heavier tiller will till deeper than a light weight.
I find the tillers extremely easy to pull HP wise and I don't think you would have an issue with a 72" tiller, certainly not with a 60" as long as the weight of them doesn't exceed your lift capacity.
