Timber Frame Build - Round 2

What I like best about you is your attention to detail. It's like going to Disneyland and realizing that every path, every part of every building, it thought out and made the best that it can be. This is what will set you apart from everyone else in your area!!!

Thank you everyone for the compliments. I will say just like the house build it's kind of hard to mess up a timber frame.

The rest of my tongue and groove is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to finishing that up and getting the paint on the walls so I can start on lighting. What we do with lighting is really going to be key on this project for the weddings and especially the reception afterwards when the lights get dimmed. Should be able to really make this place stand out if we do it right.

I recommend a lighting designer. My BIL is one and I’m amazed at what they can bring to a project. They do 3D modeling of your place, and play with the lighting, splash and shadows and it lets you view from anywhere in the building to get a real feel. Should help with interior paint/finishes too. And don’t forget the exterior lighting too. So important.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just about ready to check bathrooms off the list. Tile work is done and granite for vanities installed today. They forgot the backsplash and will bring them next week. Just waiting on partitions now.

Love it! I’m a stone and rich wood guy. Clean but elegant. Looks to cater to handicapped guests as well. Nice going.

Groom area will go in the back part of the building. Lounge area with a couple of couches, tv, changing room. Our old house that we lived in on the upper level back half of the building will be turned into the bridal suite. There is 2,100 sq/ft on the upper level. 4 bedroom, living room, kitchen laundry, dining room, and 2 baths. One of the bedrooms will be turned into a makeup room for the bride and bridesmaids. Our wedding packages will include overnight stay options so they can come in the day prior, decorate, rehearsal dinner, etc then stay at the house the night prior to the wedding or the night prior and night of depending on the package they choose.
