I've got four already, three in OKC and one in southern California.
Everyone who knows me knows that the best thing about me is my wife. She like most folks, was put off by my ways at first. But I won the heart of her mother and her five year old grandaughter, she didn't stand a chance after that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
That five year old is now a sophomore at OU. She has two brothers, one sixteen, and one who just turned thirteen late last month. Probably the greatest thing that can happen to a cranky cuss like me is to have three kids love me and think of me as their grandpa when they really don't have too.
I have a two year old in California that I've seen twice. I wish she was closer but it appears that isn't in the cards.
The poor kid will definately have a deprived life if history is a window to the future.
When the sixteen year old was ten I overheard him tell a friend, "I can't talk now. My grandpa from Texas is here. He's the one that I told you about. He can make anything."
He was on the phone when we came through the door. It was the first time anyone had ever referred to me as "grandpa" in my presence. Sorta kinda marked me for life if you know what I mean.
