Three weeks ago we had an overnight storm on a Thursday that dropped about 2.5". I got up an hour early to clear the driveway and sidewalks because I hate driving over the new snow and getting it packed down. I'm also afraid that if I don't clear the sidewalk, one of my wife's clients will slip and fall, and we all know what THAT means! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Anyway, while I was blowing off the driveway, my glasses became a little fogged up. So I took them off and put them in my coat pocket. After getting done, I went inside to get a cup of coffee and when I reached in to get the glasses, the right lens was missing! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I deduced that it fell out when I was standing in the driveway taking them. I was wearing gloves, so I didn't feel anything strange. The lens must have fallen out when I was putting them in my pocket, and it "Blown" somewhere out into the yard. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Fortunately, I had bougth some of those drug store reading glasses for $4.99 a year ago and left them in my desk for emergencies. I ended having to wear them for over a week while I got new lenses made. So I had to get used to wearing those, and then just when I got used to wearing them, I get my new lenses and have to readjust to those again!
Yeah, I'm tired of winter too! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
