To Cab or Not To Cab: BX25D

When you work on the shute and deflector projects, I found that the rotation is a priority but I don't change the deflector much.

I doubt the cab has any part above the ROPS, it did not in my case. So anywhere you go with your ROPS up, your cab should fit too.

In the summer on the flat areas of my lawn I fold my ROPS down to fit under as many tree branches as I can - and clothes posts for mowing.

Still debating cabs with my dealer.

Think i remember on junkmans bx22 curtis cab the rops had to be removed can any one else remember?

It depends on where you plan on putting the snow and wind direction. If you blow with the wind then on each pass you will be changing the chute rotation. Yea you have a cab but you will be surprised how much the blower can blow snow in large amounts. Going against this makes visibility next to zero sometimes. If you rotate the chute and go with the wind it makes visibility a lot easier. I do not use the deflector as much as the chute rotator. If I had to give something up it would be the deflector. If you work in close quarters and do not have many options on where to place the snow then get both.

Hey Greg, I do endorse the Bro Tek wheel spacers and I am very pleased with them but again for me working on slopes tipping is still a big concern. Just some words of caution there. I also have lots of branches to deal with. I absolutely would love a cab but I am looking for ways to lower the CG to be honest with you. I don't want to fill my tires. But go for the cab and many of us will be jealous.
