What! NO TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I'm retired. But had to wait until I paid off all the toys that I bought over the years before I could do it.
I see you are in Phoenix. I will be making a trip next month that will have Phoenix as one of it's stops. Whats the weather like in April.

Ron,

Yes that means no more TBN for me /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif as I refuse to pay for satellite. Weather here in April is around 70-80 for a high. Here's a picture of the ranch, notice no utilities going there. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

15 to 27 months left for me. I'll be 55 or 56 then. Too young to fully retire, but, I plan on moving upnorth and restarting my building business. Work when and if I feel like it. All the retirees I know loose 10 years of age when they get out. And the common thread with all of them is, "Get out as early as you can". That's one bit of advice that I'll definetly use. They also tell me that they wonder how they ever had time to go to work!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You guys are all rookies at this retirement business. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I retired 16 years ago. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Well, retired from my primary occupation and the only one that pays a pension. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Of course, I did work at a number of little jobs after that like maintenance and security at an RV resort, gas leakage surveys all over the country, tire dealership counter man, farm and ranch hand, and air tool repair business; all things that paid very little but were great FUN for me! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Mike, on that I will have to agree. You just never know how many ticks of the clock you have left to enjoy it.

Bird, I think that's the secret. I loved my work when I did it, apart from the last 2 years, so much so that it wasn't work at all. Now I love my retirement and that's not work at all either. Whoever said that life gets busier after retirement got it right. I may still occasionally put in a 12-hour day but I sure don't work a 12-hour day. Life is good, retirement is great.
