Okay for those of you that saw my material storage cart back in post #56, I finally finished the mod to add larger (8in) pneumatic wheels. I slimed them, welded them to a plate and bolted them to the cart, widened the footprint some and realized I have more storage space underneath due to increased ground clearance, for long metal sections. So I welded up a large U bracket on both ends and now I can store several 10ft tubes, channels, L's etc. I like it!

The wheel work better for rolling over rough ground but they take more to get them to swivel. An improvement but not perfect. Need a remote and power steering. :D

Hmmm.... one of those powered trailer ball movers spark some ideas?
Looks good. Great work and ideas.

I built a "winter time" hitch for my truck when plowing as I seem to do a lot at night and always needs to pull someone out . I wired the lights into a 7 way plug so they come on whenever I put my truck in reverse .

With my luck I'd have those lights knocked off in a snow bank my first night out. The light is gonna be really nice though!

nothing worse than trying to back up when you can't see, and Andy you are going to see really well now.
And maybe not back into a mailbox now...as I have. Really nice job. Plug and play.
Necessity is the mother of invention they say

Funny... I just did something similar... finally strapped an old fluorescent 'trouble' light that I wasn't using to my 20T shop press. I recently built a press brake from Swag Offroad kit and realized I needed better light to see my marks.

I thought there would be a lot more posting on this thread with the holidays but maybe too many of you like me are finding your shop just way too cold for shop time?
