I think I'd get with a local welding shop about replacing your bucket edge and get it good and straight before getting a toothbar or removable wear edge. The new lip they may install on your bucket might use plow bolts to hold a replaceable wear edge on. I'm not set up to haul my tractor so I dropped by a local dealer and they had a number of older pin on buckets sitting out back. Measured one that was "close enough" and I took it home in the bed of my truck. A little time with my angle grinder and cut off wheels cleared enough of the mount to let me rotate the bucket enough to work so I got a new bucket instead of just a new edge. Getting pins to fit and shiming in the mounts on the new bucket to the old rams made assembly a pain but its done and I'm happy.
I don't need to dig as much as I'd like to protect the edge and be able to drag up small trees and undergrowth. Still on the fence and I don't know anyone that has one that I can observe in use in person.
I do have a quick attach but it is not an industry standard, it is the same for all koyker loaders though.
I could just would need to find a bucket big enough and strong enough so I don't crush it
I am afraid with the way the bucket is made that to replace the front edge of the bucket I would make the whole bucket weaker, Unless they added to it like I am trying to do with a tooth bar, and I have it just as straight as the day it was made. and the nearest welding shop is well over an hour away, and honestly I can make or do just about anything they can do.
