Up In Smoke! Although not a family movie, I thought it was hilarious.

I've read all the posts in this thread, but can't remember. Any mention of Young Frankenstein?

Vanishing Point(original)

Bullit

Bullit is without a doubt the best "chase" movie ever. It's just as exciting the 1000th time I see it as the very first time.

In my original "10", I had Vanishing Point but thought it to be a little obscure and took it off the list. ".......and it's reportedly supercharged"! Almost made me go buy a Hemi Challenger. Vanishing Point was one of those great "drive-in movie" movies. I recall seeing VP, Aloha Bobbie and Rose, and 2 Lane Blacktop at the drive-in one night. I had my wife and 3 small kids in the car. Not sure why I didn't run into a 'dozer myself after that crazy night.

Many of my favorites have already been listed, so I'll list a few I didn't see on the list:

Do mini-series count?:

The World's Fastest Indian
Based on a true story. A man follows his dream to race an Indian motorcycle at the Bonnevile salt flats. Very interesting story and great characters. Highly recommended by me. :)

Silent Running
Science Fiction. Earth's last remnants of plant life are being stored in giant greenhouses in orbit around Saturn until a time comes when Earth can be reforested. The freighter ships are recalled to earth. The caretakers are supposed to blow up the greenhouses and come home. One guy thinks the plants should be spared. His shipmates make fun of him. Bad choice on their part . If you ever run across this movie, rent it and watch it. Very good story with believable plot and neat special effects, considering it was made in 1972. There are four little robotic machines that help with chores on the ships. Inside them are double amputee actors. The robot costumes had to be made custom for each actor and that is why they are all a bit different. Makes it more believable.

Animal House
Road trip!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
"What do you mean, an African or European Swallow?"

Tora! Tora! Tora!

What a classic.

Mars Attacks
We come in peace.
