On the top link there are two philip screws. What are these for /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I believe that they are stops that keep the rods from being over extended. If you remove the screws, the rods should come all the way out.

I think they are there to close the holes that they use on assembly to punch-mark the threaded rod to keep the rod-ends from screwing all the way out.

Before replacing my bent OEM top link, I tried to disassemble and repair it, but unscrewing the rod end only ruined the internal thread in the body. Thus, I bought a $19 non-Kubota replacement and still live happily ever after.
