You have some conflicting needs and will have to decide which compromise works best:
1. 1 acre property - suggests BX sized machine.
2. You want to keep your buns warm while clearing snow - suggests cab model. How long is your driveway?
3. You want to dig with a BH - suggests open station model... easier to move from BH seat to tractor seat so you can move the tractor... which you'll do a lot with a small BH.
4. You have some slopes. Yes, BX2650 is tall and narrow... more tippy.
Not an easy decision! Can't tell you what to do, but I'd try to figure out my priorities before going shopping.

Well, I started with a B7500.
Moved to a B7510.
Then moved to a BX2660.
Then to a B2620, which I currently have.
Needs change. Tractors change.
Now considering a BX2670. Thought we were going to move to more acreage, but not happening now. The DW lost her job, so I'm just fed up with the System, and thinking about going to a unit more sized for my 1.75AC.

I think the BX for the OP will be more than adequate. Depending upon trees, a cab may become cumbersome with overhanging limbs, and unless the OP will be in the cab for longer durations, the access is not stellar, from my experience when shopping last. The B's are almost too compact for easy access and large doors. Of course, I'm 6'-5" and 260#.

I wouldn't worry about a cabless snowblowing tractor in the winter. With an acre, you will be done your work before you can finish your hot chocolate. And in the summer, if you are on/off the tractor a lot, a cab will get in the way. Sure, it is luxurious but unless you are in it for a long stretch, will you really benefit from the investment in the cab? Only you can decide what is right for you.

My cabless B3300 (w/ backhoe) has no impact on our leach field and has decent enough ground clearance that working in our small woods works just fine. It is sometimes too big for our 3 acres. I traded in a BX25 for the B series a few years ago and both machines work very well on our site. Never once thought I would need a cab, even in our long and cold Canadian winter.

Thank you for the input everyone. It looks like I am going to go with a different model.
The B2601. I hope. Reason being,,,
When I had first enquired on the BX25, I went through the build my tractor on the Kubota website. When I mentioned this to the sales person, he stated the site shows MSRP and we can do much better.
He took about 10% right off the Top.
On the Kubota website, I worked my way through building this 2601 with Turf Tires - FEL and BH.
Looking at the Price on the Website this am, while comparing it to the figure he worked out yesterday he is adding about $750.00 to the MSRP.
I haven't spoken with him yet today. The only thing I can think of, is he may have been discounting the BX25 with Factory incentives. As a dealership, he wasn't giving me a dime off the Price.
Don't know. I really don't want to Have to pay over MSRP on this model and not the other.

Over 8k difference in price between the two.

Confused. I will most likely walk and look for another brand of Tractor.

(shop around )

I am not going to pay over MSRP for this Model, after being offered a 12% discount on the Kubota BX model.

A 12% Discount on the BX25.

8k difference between the two.

This is an exc marketing ploy by Kubota.

A Entry level Tractor that has everything in a small package at a decent price when comparing to the Comp.

Attract the 1st time Tractor customer. Bring them to our brand.... Snag him into the Kubota Ball Game. Make it easiest to put our brand In as many home owners garages as possible.

On the Retail end, I am willing to bet that Kubota doesn't make but a dime or two on the BX25. (This is why they focus on volume sales - blast them out the door).

The BX25 is Perfect to bring in the 1st time Tractor Buyer.. Make you a Tractor Guy. Later, 100% Loyal to Kubota ,,possibly for a life time.

Very Smart Marketing. Similar to Bose Speakers. THEY ARE EXPERTS ON HOW TO MARKET THEIR PRODUCT. Number one selling speakers in the World, though definitely not because of their Sound.

Just read through your thread and was going to suggest a 2301or 2601, but you came to that conclusion. And your next post indicates you're not very happy with the price. Tell the salesman. Now you have a baseline quote to further negotiate for that dealer or if possible go to another Kubota dealer.
And sure go look at other brands and compare you will learn a little bit every time you go out and shop different brands. Any Massey or Kioti dealers around?

Good luck on your search, in the end you will find your tractor.

Kubota seems to have a **** of a good reputation. The BX25 I believe is a big time Tool for them. Don't get me wrong, Kubota is doing it well with that machine. The best Quality with all the stuff at the best price. Though, When you move above that machine, you are then paying slightly more than the competition for comparative models.
Right now I am going to look at compariable models to the 2601 from Deere and New Holland. These dealers are both 30 minutes away versus 60. So It's worth a shot!

That can't be true. My Kubota dealer offered a nice discount off of the the B 2650 MSRP when he quoted it. (IF you don't take the 0% financing deal.)

Check: I am getting the % Financing.
I went on the Kubota website and checked out all of their current incentives / programs.
Aside from the % financing, The B series is eliminated from most of the incentives. Cash back, Implement discounts etc.

Quite obviously your talking to the wrong sales person or going to the wrong dealer. I just traded a BX25d-1 to a new B2650 FEL and the discounts between machines were comparable but I was dealing with Barlows who people all over the US buy from. Think it could be because of fair pricing?
For sure see of other brands will treat you better and maybe even compare apples to apples but that's up to you. What ever makes you feel best.
