for what it is worth, my 2006, 5600, has done a great job for me field mowing. I do about 12 acres of horse pasture with no issues. defiantly need to keep up on the rad and the condenser for grass clippings but, once a day has worked for me. simply blow it out with the compressor and you are good to go. have mowed on very hot days and have not had issues. again its all in what you want to put into it. sounds like you are the type that keeps an eye on things so you should not have issues.
just my 2 cents.
Mike

Is your cutting tall & thick? Like something you'd need a bush hog for?
Or is it more like a lawn?
Thanks for your reply, I'm really torn about this.
5600 NOW and do a few small modifications or wait and wait for 5610?
By the way, I'm also more narrowed down to a 2016 or newer with traction control.
That narrows the field down quite a bit more.

Was also confused because I thought it came standard on 5610's 2016 and newer?

It is standard on the 5610 G series.

A late 2013 F Series will not have traction control from the factory.

hay dude, my mowing is actually both. have about 2 acres of yard, about 12 pasture. the pasture I mow, obviously, biased on rain. typically 3 times a year. its about a 6 out of 10, roughness wise. grass gets up about a foot or so. I stay on it so no rough stuff. horses will not eat like a cow. they are picky so you have to keep it clean. some hills and a marsh area so its diverse. sounds like you have your choices narrowed down. I will say this about the older builds. I have been told that anything with newer emissions engines, are "not as tough" as the older builds. that is an opinion and you know what they say. im very happy with what I have. I think I got a great deal. several implements and a low hour machine. we are not all that lucky. good luck and keep this forum on speed dial as there is a ton of help and information here.

Another question (thanks for your patience)
I'm sizing up a dump trailer to haul Toolcat in. Im trying to find out how long I need it to be.
Can one of our helpful & informative Toolcat owners please measure total max overall length with the 90" finish mower or if anyone has one with a 6' brushcat?
Thanks and sorry for all the questions!!!!

Rear receiver hitch to front ssqa plate is ~10 ft and my front 72" finish mower adds about 5ft more. The 3pt arms extend about 16" past the rear receiver hitch.

So a 16' trailer would be the minimum length?

Always hold out for what you really want, is my moto. The right thing will just show up at a good price after you buy your second choice.

Yes, VERY frustrating searching for specific equipment on the Internet. Seems search results are always in favour of the bigger players who may not even have what your search requests. That can be a good thing, as I have found out, if you can make it to some obscure listing that didn't get many looks.

Yup!
Patience is the word of the day!

Took 22 months to find my first TLB, but then I kept it for 33 years.
Replacement TLB took 8 months.
It is the luck of the draw when looking for specific used equipment.

Depends how you load it. Could put mower vertical and/or on top of dump bed. That said these toolcats dont allow you to go full vertical down on attachments like a skid steer. I towed my SS in a dump trailer with my mower vertical in the past.
