Tow snowmobile with 2" receiver hitch

Why don't u just put a trailer hitch on Ur snowmobile tow hitch. Then put Ur regular trailer ball receiver on ur truck like u would tow a trailer. That way u don't have to try and make Contraption that lets out pivot and u don't have to switch receivers on Ur truck

Farmboy I don't think I'll use this one again. If I ever have to tow a snowmobile again I think I'll make it a straight bar (like a chain that can't compress) with one vertical pivot. And it attaches to one ski.

Typically trucks don't tow snowmobiles. But I've now had to do it twice. One time was uphill (just a chain) and the other time was downhill (the contraption).
