I was thinking more of a roadway.. not a driveway...

Unconsolidated and uncompacted ( uncompactable ) gravel, pea size for a rought idea.
"I have no idea what "unconsolidated gravel" is, nor do I think that knowing would help me answer my question in any way."
Without know what crusher run is.. and it's properties... hard to say.

Telling me how to build a road in Florida, or how much pressure a 2-ton roller produces really doesn't help me, or anyone else who wants to build a homemade roller for such a job."
I would think that your vibrator roller would need to be around 600 - 1000# to have a significant effect... just a guess, as I have no data to view, and the material used will determine the variables.
