Why don't you make your own enterprise? Really, you build amazing stuff for a person who is not a mechanical engineer. I love all what you build, you do a very great job.

Start small or just somehow find a way to make it happen. Maybe start with repairs and mods at first and progress from there. Fixing other people's problems is how people get paid and you could do that in your sleep. Price your work so you can make a good profit and see what happens. It works.

Another member here--4shorts--is incredibly talented and has turned it into a very successful business. His creative work is almost beyond description. Like your backhoe.

That's the plan...but I still have lots of paperwork to do...and a location...and everything else

You already have a location.

And paperwork? Put a note with a list of work to do in one pocket, a list of things in progress in another and a list of completed work in another. Money goes in the last pocket.

This way your overhead costs are near zero so while you're a struggling artist with little cash coming in you won't have to worry about paying any overhead expenses. You can maybe do a job for a little less, still net the same amount and start to get your name and work out and about. Overhead and slow starts is a common thing with a new biz and that combination snuffs out many a dream. Overhead costs must be added to the tab for a final price. When you are starting out, the lowest overhead idea rarely fails. :)

I have two questions, and you probably covered them somewhere, but I missed them. Did you mock every thing up in plywood before doing it in steel? And where you in Netherlands or Croatia. I know both countries where mentioned.

After all the work this gentleman has done, and spent time and great effort to document and share with us in this thread, you can't go back and find it yourself?

I'm sorry, but bfreaky has provided us with an incredible thread. To ask him to repeat something is simply rediculous.

No, I made it out of steel but it took alot of drawnings, planing and thinking about every single detail. Errors are too expensive.
I'm from Croatia :)

First time I have checked back since it was completed. Saw the vid too. Looks like it came out as awesome as it looked mid construction. Looks better than the ones for sale here in the US.

Thanks :). Well then I should start a factory in rhe US ;).
Little green tractors are made here in Croatia.

Click here: Hittner - Tractor factory Hittner ltd, Bjelovar Croatia

The company also developed forest tractors and many implements. Tractors come in many colors; there's also a "military edition" :)

:Interesting, similar to the old Pasquali and Ferrari tractors from Italy. They were bought out in 1996 or there about by BCS, also of Italy. VERY stable. We do not see many of this type in the US. Mostly used in vineyards and orchards. I have a Ferrari 85. Really like the low center of gravity and 4 wheel drive. Have a great day and thanks for the post. GREAT WORK!!

They probably developed them using old Ferraris...not sure but those are good, strong and reliable machines

BFeaky, I had assumed your "little green tractor" was a Ferrari. Is it a Hittner? I see the Hittner's use Lombardini diesels also....probably was developed after the Farrari's.
