tractor pallet forks

Thank you. I have decided to go with the 2000 # forks. What did you determine to be the actual lift capacity of the tractor? If I am thinking correctly the lift capacity is based not only on the loader lift capacity, but also the capacity of the tractor hydraulic pump. I have the 805 loader . I had a Kubota dealer trying to push 3000# forks on me using the loader specs only. When I mentioned that I did not believe the tractor had enough power to come close to lifting that kind of weight he got angry.
Capacity of the pump, meaning the GPM it pumps has NOTHING to do with how much the loader will lift.

The "lift" has to do with the size of the lift cylinders and PSI of the pump.

Express steel makes good, cheap and US made forks. They also ship for free.

Thanks for the responses. I am leaning towards the 2000# rated forks, they weigh about 300 lbs. I was considering 1200# rated forks,
but I think they might be undersized. They weigh 200 lbs. I would appreciate any comments.
I agree on the 2k forks. My Branson dealer sold the 4k and my FEL won't lift 4k and I don't need the extra weight up front, but that's what he had and that's what I bought with the tractor purchase.
