Almost saw my wife flip a four wheeler while skidding a little 50-60lb cut tree. 100% my fault, I wasn't thinking and just hooked it to the utility rack rather than the hitch, and it hung up on a root.
This is heavy 650cc 4x4 utility quad, and that front just climbed right up. Fortunately she has better reflexes than I do, and just instinctively let up on the gas (CVT trans), but that image is burned in my brain. I can't imagine what the poor guy that was helping him will have to deal with...
Prayers to the family dealing with the untimely loss, and the friend that witnessed it all. It's a good reminder why ROPS are a bit sacrosanct around here as well.
