The anti gun zelots need to realize that guns are not the problem, but rather a tool. People had access to guns for many many years, yet this shooting craze is a recent event.

What changed?

It's the lack of respect for life. It's the breakdown of the family unit, where there is parenting involved. It's the availability of mind altering drugs. It's the I'm more important than you attitude.

Society is imploding. Turn on the news, there's always brain dead protesters fighting against the system.

Self defense weapons is needed more so now than any time in our past. Just this week two teenage thugs randomly attacked a 59 yo at a fair, killing him. It's a shame no one had the right tool to help him.

What changed is that a couple of kooks actually did it at Columbine. The genie is out of the bottle, now all of the other kooks have to try to top them. Because it's white males going nuts nobody wants to solve the problem, or even try to find an answer. After Parkland, a student was quoted as saying "Great, now we have to be nice to everybody", or words to that effect. She hit the nail on the head; stop ostracizing people who are different, treat them like people... or as you want to be treated yourself.

It alway kills me when some stupid (usually politician) speaks of a "COWARDLY" act. Blowing yourself up, or ending it by Police Inflicted Suicide would have to take a LOT of guts. And I'm just guessing, that there would be FAR more shootings if more people had those guts. Hate, to say it.

Actually, I was watching some AC 130 footage last night. Now, in the grand scheme of things, that's COWARDLY! Entertaining, but certainly not battle on the battlefield with fixed bayonets.

Mass murders have always happened, but usually with a grudge or motive. In the 70s and 80s we carried guns in our vehicles to school and to work, and there wasnt the frequent misuse like today.

I just spent a month in a rehab center for an illness. My roommate was a baltimore thug, gang member, who had been shot 5 times. In the middle of the night he was on his phone with his buddies discussing their shooting adventures.

Heres a clue, Guns are not the problem. Mentally Ill people are the problem.

HIPAA - Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. You have it correct though...many of them can't own firearms anyway, so what do they have to loose?
