Dougster.... we've all had economizers. Wasn't that long ago i was driving my Kiatruck. At least thats what i called it. That poor little Sephia.... you should have seen me driving it home loaded with firewood. Glad the back seat folded down!
The biggest problem with the ARE is rolling up to a potential client's million dollar home and having him see that I drive a $200 ancient rust bucket with absolutely no class whatsoever. I have to park in the street so the leaking oil doesn't stain his driveway and so the peanut butter sandwich crumbs fall into the street. It's embarrassing... but the truck sucks gas like it's going out of style and besides... it's hooked up to one of the trailers 97.4% of the time.

It's not easy being me.

Oh good... so no imposter. ;) Gotta say that I met three folks (including Scott) representing themselves as members of the store's management team... all very nice guys... but I didn't catch the names of the other two or their exact titles. I wonder which one (if any of that trio) was Mark???

Dougster

Mark is about 5'8", heavy set (fattish) wears glasses., then there is Scott about 5'10" or 11" normal build (not fattish) and finally there is a guy name Paul that works in shipping, sort-of and he is around 5' 8" heavy set and no glasses.

No matter i guess. I'll just have to go back to TSC again.... i'll figure out where i know him from.

Wayne, have you tried out your FF rotary cutter yet ? Did you like it? They have a 48" in stock i was thinking about takinghome with me. Its either that.... or i'm buying a new Jinma Chipper.

Yep works fine for a Farm Force! After getting over the brand switch I have calmed down and know it is doing a good job for me. Now if I can figure out how to adjust the height of cut I will be golden!

Don't pick on Dougster, he has us all fooled with his poor truck story. You do know he is driving a 2500 HD Heavy Duty with all of the features.............!

Yep, looks like I met Mark (briefly) and Scott... possibly Paul too, but I'm not 100% sure. Nice folks. :)

The Dougster drives the miserable old ARE 97% of the time. The stripped-down 2500HD work truck is used exclusively for business and is in either towing or plowing mode almost 100% of the time. At 11 MPG without trailer, 9 MPG with trailer and as low as 5-7 MPG plowing... there is no way I can afford to drive it one extra mile.

Just got the truck's second state inspection sticker (first since purchased) and the mechanic came out and asked me what had been wrong with the truck? I looked at him funny and he clarified: He had never seen a year old truck with so few miles so he assumed it had been sidelined out of service. I laughed... and then explained to him about dirt poverty and generic peanut butter sandwiches on stale bread. Then, he understood. :)

Understand the gas thing, although my little Chevy gets around 17 MPG, but would have a problem plowing and pulling that trailer.

Well, off to make my PB&J's for today. You should try Jam sometime, makes it pretty tastie!

Yeah, the gas that truck sucks down would send me into bankruptcy if I drove it for personal use. And no jam. Jam is an unnecessary frill for you rich folks. Peanut butter alone will sustain my "dirt poor" life.

Wayne, a reliable source tells me Dougster has no less than eight coffee cans full of cash buried in his back yard! We know the rusty bomber, and the PB on stale bread are all a front !!
