The closest one to me in western NH is in Rutland VT, right on Route 7 on the south side of town.
But then ya gotta pay that 6% Vermont sales tax (plus 1% "local option" tax, if applicable)!!!

I say "Live Free or Die"!!! :D

Tcs in my area have a lot of all around farm supply and stuff for tractors. They have a good return policy and the price is fair. They just don't have enough help.....

We have three of them in the local area. The one closest to me is by far the best. Friendly and knowledgeable help, well stocked, and they'll gladly order non-seasonal or out-of-stock items. They'll set things aside for me until I can get back with my truck if I see the last of something when I stop by when in my car. The farthest one, near where I previously lived, is just awful. Unfriendly help that doesn't have a clue. The third one is somewhere in between. Nice people. Good stock, but cluttered.

I guess the store really depends on the manager.

It has a grand opening on the 15th. I drove by there yesterday and the store is full of stuff and the back lot has lots of equipmnt outside. Don't know what deals will be available on the 15th.

Let me know if you hear anything Wayne. Newspaper ads or anything like that. I've been making a list and saving my pennies! :D

So far, the TSC website doesn't even seem to be aware NH is getting a store!!!

I frequent about 5 different TSCs in my travels...they vary a lot. The smallest is near Columbia SC, 3 bigger ones are all in more rural towns, Orangeburg, Aiken, and Newberry SC. The one in Augusta GA is so-so.
Some of their stuff is good, some is cheap chinese rejects from Harbor Freight it appears:p
BTW the one near Columbia, actually in Lexington, is interesting, while all the others seem to have a mix of more mature employees with just a few younger ones, this one seems to have all very pretty, very young girls on staff..hmmmm;)

TSC just bought out the Dels feed and farm here in washington state. Dels used to have anything and everything you could want for tractors, farms, critters, whatever. they had aisles of nuts and bolts and bits and pins and a great fencing aisle....TSC bought them, remodeled the store here and got rid of all that stuff, now the only thing they sell are a couple of augers, some fencing supplys, animal feed and lots of clothes and boots. I went down to ask about cutting bits for my auger, they dont carry them and the cashier had to call corporate to ask if they could order them and she was told no, that they could give me the number for spee'co and to have a nice day. but I could get a nice pair of ariats and some dog food AND christmas ornaments. I was truly disappointed when TSC bought Dels...I am going down this week to buy a 6 or 9 inch auger, cant decide yet, fence posts are 4 to 6 inch rounds. but you can bet that I wont buy the auger at Dels/TSC. I will go somewhere else regardless of wether its cheaper or not.

One of my biggest disappointments in TSC was when they quit selling metric fasteners by the pound....they still have grade 2,5 and 8 stuff. With all the metric based tractors out there now they sure picked a stupid time to drop the metric stuff IMNSHO:(

Sounds like a each store is a little different, I just have to wait till they open to see what kind of store it will be. I do need a boom for my 3pt hitch, online its under $100 bucks, Probably junk for that price but at least if its in the store I'll be able to see it up close and personal.

Bosch, I just bought a boom pole at one of our local TSC stores for $225. They have the KK version, about 500 lb limit listed on-line for around $100, however when I went to the store they had another one, much better quality, 1,500 lb limit, CAT 1 & 2 draw pins so you can hook up either without having to fool with bushings. I am very happy with the quality. I have bought several non-mechanical things there, carry all, bale spear... etc. The prices are decent here. Their mineral feeders are cheaper and better quality than Southern States. They do carry lots of horse stuff too, but I'm in to horses so I consier that a plus. I've also bought ropes and roping dummy steer heads, saddle stands, and Wranglers there. Draw pins, carriage bolts by weight, sheer pins, log chains, ratchetting tie down straps, PTO shaft, tractor seats, chem sprayers. That wide of selection might annoy others here on TBN, but TSC is my Walmart. :) There's one in every town around central KY, Winchester, Georgetown, Nicholasville, Richmond... and I love it. Hope your store is a good one as it sounds like not all are.

My uncle is part of the Tourist Comission in our parish here in Louisiana. He said that we are supposed to be getting a Tractor Supply store, but I'm not sure when he told me where/when its gonna be. I am looking forward to it. I'll probably pitch a tent outside the night before openin' mornin'!

I also love my local TSC. Of course I had never set foot in such a store until about 4 months ago.
Now it's my nirvana!

I enjoy each and every visit although my wallet does not.

They have a lot of stuff that the wifey likes too.

My list includes but is not limited to: Over 1000 feet of garden hose, barn fans, dog kennels, dog food, fly killing and trapping products, log chains, fencing, nuts and bolts and screws, gas cans, garbage cans, Candy orange slices (the freshest I have found anywhere...go figure), sprinklers, pressure washer replacement hose and gun, diesel can, 2 park style benches, 2 hats, a shovel, a pry bar, a rake.
I love their bargain baskets, my store usually has 2 or 3 heaping with clearance goodies.

There are other things I won't buy there like building materials, you can do far better on price at a box store like Home Depot or Lowes on those type items but all in all, I really enjoy going to my local TSC.

I like TSC, it's my favorite store. It sure is nice to have one nearby. It's not perfect but I ain't complaining. I'm one of their best customers. Just bought a bunch of 5/8x8 inch low grade bolts there for about $1.10 each including tax. Ace has them for $2.30 each excluding tax.

I've got to agree with farmwithjunk. Years ago I bought pickup tires and alot of other things you'de expect to find at a tractor store. Had them order a stove for me last year, as the weeks passed after due date I called them and talked to the manager to inquire. Wasn't ordered, then yes it was, then checking on del. date and we'll call you back. Then manager isn't in and will return your call. Another month went by and guess what? TSC on the phone and your stove is in. I replied I've already bought the same brand from another store that garanteed del. in 1 wk. and have it installed. It was also cheaper, but now you have one to put on the showroom floor. Still go there from time to time but don't expect much from them anymore.

What I love about TSC in my area, is when they discount or clearance an tractor implement, they hang these big yellow tags off them. I don't have to stop, I just do a drive by and look for the big tags. They just had lawn rollers for 50% off, and all their 3pt equiptment mtht was made by KK clearance priced. Seems like all the new stuff says farm force on it. Looks identical to the KK stuff. Other than that, when I need a part at 3pm on a Sunday, the only place that is open is TSC and Lowes.

I frequent 3 different TSC stores in my area. Overall I have been impressed by the employees who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They contain a wide variety of products not normally available in other stores. They also feature seasonal sales on many items. I have purchased several 3-point KK equipment including carry-all, rake, sub soiler, and soon to be acquired on sale, rotory tiller.

I have bought stuff from them especially for the 3pt it is only 2 min down the road and its a new store the move about 8 blocks from where it was. It is alot nicer than then the old store. I am currently trying to buy a 48 king kutter tiller for my JD 2305 it is clearenced 300 off if the 3 in the warehouse is a true number.

Our farm is between two TSCs. We've bought a few things at the Prairie du Chien, WI store, but mostly shop at the one in Viroqua, WI. Selection is pretty good, but they don't carry anywhere near everything that's in the catalog. And the web site seems "spotty". Printed catalog is the most comprehensive source for what they either have or can get. Prices vary, sometimes lower than the competition, sometimes higher. Overall, you do okay, price-wise.

The staff there ROCK! Anything they don't have in stock, if it's something you really need, they'll call around to get transferred. One of their fellows even drove from the Viroqua store to the PduC store to get something we needed, just on a phone call from Madison. On major purchases, they'll open up the box to make sure everything's in order. When we bought our Fimco sprayer, they noticed one of the couplers missing. They called as many nearby stores as they could, with no luck finding the right coupler. One of the guys happened to notice they got some extra Fimco parts recently, and zounds!, there was a coupler that fit. If you have a question about a product, they won't hesitate to call the mfr, or visit their web site, to get the answer. They're farm folks themselves, and are keenly aware that you're there to get stuff you _need_, often for a project you wanna get going _today_.

The local TSC store across the river from me in the Michigan UP is my only choice for parts and implements since I live in area that doesn't have a many tractor dealers or farm supply stores.

I think they offer great value on the Farm Force and King Kutter implements and the prices on everything else are also very competitive. The knowledge and advice is non-existent but that's what I have TBN for.

The Canadian version of TSC is opening here in a few months but from what I have seen on their web site they are way too expensive-like Luremaker suggested.
