Al, I'm with you. The older i get, the more i take the back roads. My mother claims that i've turned into my father. But he was an old fashioned, opinionated, stubborn, pig-headed pollack. I'm nothing like that !!!! ;-)

Well, today i made my pilgrimage to TSC in Merrimack. I liked the place.... definitely short on implements. I was impressed with alot of other things they stocked. Weld-on ball ends, hydraulic fittings, welding supplies, etc. I assume they are open on Sundays (or, are they not??), so where else would you find that stuff on Sunday? Its a hike from my house, but i'll definitely be back soon to browse. I asked the girl with all the tatoos if a guy named Wayne had been in to order his new tiller..... figuring he would gravitate right to her, but no dice. I did get to leave Dougster a message on his new tiller, which was really the highlight of the visit. I've been wanting a new 5' rear finish mower, since i can't use my belly mower anymore. The KK they had in stock was beefcake ! And was only a thousand and some change. Sure would look good in my barn .

Scott

Hey Scott,

I was there, bought a new seat for the tractor and som orange paint! Didn't put the money down for the bushhog yet. Tough to let the money go up front. Oh and I had a nice talk with the gire with the tatoos. She mentioned the hand was her sons finger prints and that she just liked tatoos. More power to her.

Been having a bit of a problem the past few days with kidney stones of all things so not up to doing much heavy lifting. Hope things will clear up in a day or so and I will be going back to TSC.

Wayne, I wasn't trying to imply the TSC girl's tats were a negative..... just proving i was there. I kept looking at every other guy there, thinking.... does that guy look like a Wayne with a Kubota? But no.... i saw a guy who looked like a Bill, with a Massey... and maybe a Jim with a Deere. Sorry to hear about your stones. My best friend gets 'em occaisionally, and i see what they do to him.

Scotty..... come down here and spend money at our TSC. The money you save on sales tax will pay for your gas, AND buy lunch for Wayne, myself , and you ! Plus... our NH businesses need your money !

Okay just to set the record straight! When I was paying for the items I puchased it happened to be a young girl that is constantly talking and she happens to have one or two tatoos, I suspect she has a whole bunch of them that we cannot see, and during our conversation she mentioned she liked tatoos.

Ductape I was the olde fart singing along with the country music.

Scotty the place is okay, but I would assume if you have been in one then you know the layout of all of them!

It is nice not to have to pay sales tax, but we never expect to here in "Live Free or Die" Land anyway. Funny how we do not pay sales tax or income tax, but we sure make it up on land and toy taxes.

Dougster I am sure living in Mass you know all about taxes and big digs, so coming to Cow Hampshire is sort-of stepping back in time.

I get a kick out of driving down I-93 in the morning and watching the cars pass me at about 85 MPH and they are in the breakdown lane. Warning if you drive in Mass do not expect to pull over and stop during rush hour!

Got to get going have a good one! 47 degrees this morning so it won't be long before the first frost!

I was going to point out that my 6.0L 2500HD (towing my 20-ft equipment trailer to pickup that KK tiller) is not exactly an economy car... but I now see that you are even farther away from Merrimack than I am! I thought you were practically right next door! :)

Okay... Okay... I bring my own lunch. Just nobody laugh at my "no-name" peanut butter on stale bread sandwich!!! :(
