hi, im new to this but have had my tractor for bout 6 years. like it most of the time ,but not right now. acts like a dead batt. but its new
tractor wont start well

Are you using your glow plugs to start?
It's also possible you didn't buy a battery with enough cold starting amps to turn your engine fast enough

6 years is a long time on a battery...
have you replaced it or is it the original one.
clean bat cables and connections are required as well.
if in a cold area it will likely need 1-2 glow cycles,.. and .. you may even have bad glow plugs...

you could have bought a bad battery. i bought a bran new batt from sams club, turn out to have a bad cell i exchanged it and had no problem.

hey thanks for the reply. i didnt check the new batt. yet . i have same trouble when its nice out as well. i pulled the starter going to have it checked .
