trade in value on my G5200

I am taking a loss no matter how you look at this. This spring I bought a G5200 with 1300 hrs on Craigslist with plow and wheel weighs and chains for 1400 bucks. I mowed my acre about 5 times and the trans went out. Now its sitting in he service bay, they want atleast $2500 to get her going again, but its still an older model and I'm thinking of trading in or parting it out.

The input shaft to the HST egged out the seal and pump is $1600 by itself.


The rest of tractor is in great shape.

They offered me a guess of $300-$500 trade in.

Any suggestions?
