A friend of mine has an old frame from a 16' travel trailer. It's dual axle, I'm thinking of converting it into a flatbed to haul the tractor and construction supplies. Has anyone ever done anything like this?

Greg, that's relatively easy to do, but over the years there have been many, very different, travel trailers with dual axles, from very light weight to quite heavy. You just need to be sure that frame, axles, springs, tires and wheels are rated to handle the weight you intend to haul. Does it have brakes on one or both axles?
