What kind of truck would have a bed long enough for a BX24 with the FEL and BH mounted? Seems it would be too long for even a pickup with an 8' box unless the FEL was raised above the cab and the BH hung out the back.
MY BX23 is 15 feet long or about twice as long as a pickup bed.
I couldn't even get my BX1500 on a pick up.
It's about 13 feet with front blade and rear tiller.

Instead of buying one for my 1850, and I thought about it, I just rent the 6x12 double axle one from U-haul when I need to get it to my father's or brother's house. At $26 per 24 hour rental, it beats insuring, storing, and looking at the thing for the other 360 days when I don't need it.
I'm wondering if my 8 foot long trailer is long enough to haul my BX1500 on with out any attachments on the front or back.

I'm here to tell you that a 3,500# trailer is insufficient for transport of these tractors, especially if it is carried with the FEL or any other attachment. It is within the weight rating, but the tires roll too much, probably because of the high COG. You can overload the trailer with dirt, but the weight is literally between the wheels...very low to the ground. Not the same with the tractor. If you are simply taking the tractor to the dealership, under 10 miles, under 45 MPH, a 3,500# trailer may be OK. But anything more and a better trailer is called for.

May be OK on short hauls ONLY if it is a 3,500# trailer. In my personal experience, the weak link is the tire sidewalls. If your trailer has 1,850# rated tires (load range C, I think), you may be OK for short distances. Anything less and I absolutely would not do it. But length-wise, you shoud be OK (bare minimum) with no attachments.

C'mon Lee,
You need at least two probably three trailers for your tractors. Let me know if you find a good deal. I'll ride your coattails and get one tpo

Are you sure about this?... Local dealer told me the brochure weight includes the loader, but not the hoe. I've seen a lot of confusion about this on forums. Has anyone weighed this guy?

It's in the manual(s).

Actually, the difference between the 2350 and the 24 is a little odd. There isn't much difference in the tractor but the difference is about 300#. I am 100% certain the loader weighs more than that and isn't in the difference. The only remaining explaination is the weight of the 4 point subframe for the BH. I know it is a hum-dinger on my Woods and expect the Kubota one is at least that stout. A 2350 without a BH weighs a lithe 1,250#.
