My free advice on trailers is: always get it longer than your typical load. Just because it fits on there doesn't mean the load will be balanced. Sometimes, things roll along like there's nothing back there and sometimes you feel like sneakers in a dryer. On those occasions, you want to move it up or back a bit to get things right so you need some extra space to work with.
