Tree Puller?

Not much of a cross-section there, one guy loves it, the other hates it. Hmmm... Steve

Let us know if the brush grubber BG–10 works. I was ready to buy one until I read the reviews. I have an extreme brush grubber, the chain pull type, and it's a nice device. Only problem is, as stated earlier in this thread, it's a two man operation to work the chain. I'll buy the pallet fork model if there's a good testimonial from a TBNer.

Following-up on the above mentioned pallet fork tree puller. Anybody here have one of these? Wondering if you have to get off the tractor every time you pull a tree? (assuming it works as advertised)

Reading the PDF, it says after ripping up the the trunk and roots, to sit the plant back on the ground and the arms will lift allowing you to release the trunk.

Many years ago I had this on a MF240D 3 point.

It was too much of a hassle backing up to each tree, so I turned it around. any tree that I could drive over it would pull out.

I took some pictures that show all of it and the bracket for the top link, that allows it to be turned around.

Brush Grubber BG-10: I bought one of these and soon learned the gap was too big for most of the trees I wanted to remove. I'm wanting to pull out willow trees, 1-1/2 to 2 inch diameter. My co-worker suggested grinding off the welds and re-welding the plates so I can grub smaller trees. My modified tree puller is shown below -- before and after...

Not sure yet. We still have snow on the ground here and I'm more of a fair-weather tree puller! Will let you know when Spring arrives. I'm hopefull this modification will do the trick.
