I'm in the process of mounting this shear and rotator.
I'm mounting a solenoid valve in a little, well protected area under the coupler pins.
My hold up is the wiring. I have an unused toggle (momentary) on the left joystick that I want to operate the valve to divert the flow from shear action to rotate. This rotator will greatly increase my ability/choice to pile the stems not to mention limbing abilities.
I'm envisioning quite a bit of disassembly and wire "chasing" for a clean installation. Not my strong point and my reason for procrastinating
.
They've got a pretty good YouTube channel.
This is the outfit I bought it from. KXZ 280 Rotating Tree Shear
The build quality down to the paint is impressive. My use is for thinning and some of this will be firewood..... when I get it operational.
