plan on renting a walk behind trencher to trench 900' LOOP , 2'x6'' can this be done in a day no rocks or clay but probally some tree roots Iam thinking 120'/hour would be max under ideal situations that would be 7.5 hours ???

I rented one to do a 6"x3'x300' trench for my electric service, took me a couple hours. I had it back under the half day rental time limit. And my soil is really rocky. I don't think you'll have any problems doing what you're describing.

I rented a walkbehined trencher and did 100' in about an hour, I have hard clay.

I second the other guy's, should be able to and have time for a beverage:thumbsup: I haven't used a walk behind, but several ride ons, last was for my water line 1400' in about 3hrs.
