Bird, I always knew that you were a cool customer, but pulling 2 hay wagons with a pickup???? I have white knuckles pulling one with a pickup on the road. They always worry me, we put used tires on them, and they're just not designed for being on the road, but going slow is OK. I've pulled 2 in the field with a tractor. Going slow in the field with a tractor is OK, but 2 behind a pickup on the road?? You're a better man than me!!! But then, I already knew that!!!

Rich, the farthest we had to go was about 8 miles on good two lane asphalt farm-to-market roads, and a half mile on a county road. (FM744, FM1578, and NW CR3360), might see one or two other vehicles and might see none in that distance. If we did see any, it was most likely other farmers who lived in the area. But you're right; those wagons are not designed for road use.

My father in law has a 4x8 cheapie mesh floor trailer. I have hauled 4 wheelers and wood etc. It had a 3/4 piece of regular ply that was just painted black. It spent half its life inside the other out in the elements but that ply is just getting to where it ought to be swapped end for end (its splintering where lawnmower decks grab the edges and bust it up) and thats been say almost 9 years.
