Again i say nice work. Now the only thing you need is a "turbo" sticker on the side.

to bad you can't make use of that a.c and run some of that cold air on that intake line do you think it would help any?
I have heard of guys doing that. The intake air is going through alot of steel pipe already. I put my hand on the intake after it had ben running awhile and it was cool.

Didn't know there was such a thing. All I knew about was ceramic coating. How much heat can this paint see?
Stuff I used was rated for 1500 degree's.

Do you think it might be an issue if you use this machine hard during one of our 90+ degree days during the summer?

No, ambient air temp has little to nothing to do with EGT. If anything the EGT should drop a little on a hot day because hot air is less dense and therefore the boost from the turbo is less: less boost less EGT.

That makes sense. I enjoy threads like this as I learn more every time I find one:)

Is that turbo waste gated?

Yes it has a waste gate. There is a diaphram type sensor a with a plunger that senses boost. When it senses the desired boost the diaphram moves an actuator arm that causes a flap to open on the exhaust intake side. As some of the exhaust gets diverted this way, the turbo slows down causes less boost.
The waste gate is adjustable approx. 5 to 9 lbs. of boost. I have it adjusted on the low end.

Mikeyd,

You do realize that you are single handedly responsible for thousands of grown men drooling into their keyboards, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars damage?

Keep up the good work!
