TZ25DA Losing RPM's ~Help!

Hello I also have a TZ25DA that is showing the same problems that you described in your posts. I have done all the items suggested above and still have the same thing happening. I was wondering if you ever were able to have the problem resolved. We will be calling the service department of our dealer tommorrow but if it is something simple maybe I can preven a service call.

Okay the tractor is working fine now. The problem - clogged first stage fuel filter. The reason I did not look at it during the initial troubleshooting - I changed it 50 hours ago. The only thing I can gather is I had a couple of bad tanks of fuel and it clogged the filter.
Mowed for two hours tonight without a hic cup.

I am having the same problem w/ NH TZ18 DA. Have been following this form, flushed tank, changed filters, still same problems. My problem has been on going for 30 days and getting worse. Other things that i noticed is if i placed pressure on the low and high range shifter it would stall but not every time. Still thinking fuel problem but considering electric added injector cleaner. Started up and let run , dismounted and let run for 10 min and ran fine. Take a test drive and starts cutting off as before but found out that when I push the break pedal the I can stop the stall of the engine every time. I look at the sensor on the break pedal and under the seat and they are adjustable. Where should I start adjusting first. Thanks

did you clean the tap on the tank?

I flushed the tank, blew out the lines, replaced the filters, added injector cleaner with fresh fuel. Not quite sure what cleaning the tap is but would not cleaning the tap have an effect on safety kill switches as in holding down the break pedal keeps it runing?

the tap is how the fuel exits the tank.. has nothing to do with any electrics.

I am really curious about the brake pedal causing the tractor to run better. I think perhaps you are pressing the brake pedal and your weight is shifting in the seat because of that. The slight change in position is enough to operate the seat switch. I'd start troubleshooting by checking the seat switch and making adjustments there. I think an intermittent seat switch is the only thing that could cause the symptoms as you explained them.

I haven't been on here for a looooooooong time.....my 'RPM' problem was resolved 100%!!

Just like walshjnd, hubby bypassed the seat safety switch!!!! He rarely ever had problems, but I had them ALL the time!! Apparently, I am not heavy enough!!

So far so good regarding this problem. Hubby figured this one out on his own...YAY!! :thumbsup:

I have a 2005 new holland tz25da, I bought it with a fuel issue. After the previous owner tore it apart and never put it back together I’m stuck with trying to figure out the fuel line routing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
