Also, I just checked ebay for your 870 but didn't see it listed (I'm not an ebay expert but looked under "John Deere 870").

I think he means he sold it a while ago, that picture is just 1 he had up during it's sale.

Sukee, yes I sold it awhile back and that was just one of the listing pictures. I know that itch well and you will probably have a powerful urge to satisfy it. Go luck with your new tractor if you decide to go that route.

Sincerely, Dirt

I found the 3520 to be somewhat unstable on slopes initially but after putting the wheels in the wider setting, getting some wheel weights and always running with something on the back (ballast box or whatever), it seems fine or maybe I'm just used to it. The tires are loaded R-4's.

Not sure what makes the 3x20 less stable feeling - maybe it's the fact that it uses relatively small tires for its height?

It is a few inches taller than the 4310 and the rear axle appears to be 2" slimmer. I went with some Turf Specials on all 4 wheels and that did the trick for me without any fluid in the tires. I also have another set of tires, R4's and they are loaded - rears..
