Those have great clarity for a reasonable price. I have one on the rear of the Ranger and it works well. If space is a problem, you can use a Dash cam with a small screen.

I have 60 long pallet forks. I am so glad I didn稚 get shorter ones. As long as they are, I can just see the tips at ground level for picking up pallets.
I know most CUTS can稚 pull off 60 5k lb capacity forks, but some slip on extensions should make them long enough to see over the hood.
With my SCUT, even if I could go longer, I wouldn't as I typically work in tight spaces. But I understand the benefits of longer forks.

My leveling rod has already disappeared into the tube before the forks are level. I would need to install a longer rod.

I would not make the rod longer as when you are using your regular bucket it will tend to hook easier on branches etc. What I would do is cut away the inside half of your present pipe where the rod slides in to match where the forks are level. Then your rod is still accurate for your bucket. Essentially you've made two level indicators out of the same one.

I'm with curt, except I used masking tape around the level rod. It wears a little as the rod goes in and out, but you don't need to be perfect most of the time. Once you use them a while, you will get used to where they are.

It will get easier with experience but can still be frustrating at times. I have considered adding a momentary switch to my loader joystick that would override the seat switch while I'm holding it. If I ever get around to it I'll post some pictures.

Santa brought me a 2 camera Backup Camera system with a fairly large, hooded color monitor. Will use magnets to mount cameras front and rear and will mount the monitor up by the rear view mirror.
