Very slow load time.

It's been this way (agonizingly slow) for me for quite some time now. It is only this website. I don't have problems elsewhere. It gets to the point of not even wanting to come here because of it,but I still do.
Don't know what it is. Firefox,or IE9,it doesn't matter,same deal with both.

When I have seen this issue, the load time at the bottom of the page is generally "Page generated in 0.XXXXXX seconds with Y queries", but load times are at least 10 seconds

I'm not sure if it's just me or anyone having the same trouble. This site is loading slow. When I had dial up, I could load pages a lot faster.

Odd thing is, it's not just this site loading painfully slow for me. weather.com is loading slow as well.

answers.yahoo.com loads normal, ebay.com loads normal. I wonder if it could be a main network issue. "Maybe in a router somewhere out there?"

I dunno just thought I would put it out there.

Edit: I found the problem on my end. It appears to have been MY router. I thought I would unplug it and hook my pc direct to the dsl modem and hooray it worked.

TBN is loading faster as well as other sites and no more hanging of the pages.

I started a post on this about 3 monts ago. I don't come to TBN any more unless I have plenty of time to kill.I use to be on several times a day. It takes forever for the forums page to load.The load time on the bottom of the page is inaccurate. I just timed the forum page with a timer and it took 39 seconds to load. At the bottom of the page it said the page was generated in .1984sec. with 8 queries. B.S. I just timed it again 23 sec, bottom of page said generated in .2850 wit 9 queries.

Actually, the load timer is how long it took the server to create the page. It is NOT how long it took your computer to download and display the page from the server.
