Vtek V2 Loader

Thanks for the quick reply. Some good points to remember. Bought my YM1702D w/the FEL already mounted, as I live in MA & the tractor was going to be in ME and I didn't want to deal w/finding & mounting a loader. Lazy, too, I guess. I tried to lift, to move, a cement block about 3' square or larger, and it would not pick it up. (Fortunately my neighbor, who had placed it there, moved it with his '53 Jubilee.) It didn't strain, just seemed to blow by a bypass valve. Since then I've tried to pick up a bundle of logs, but almost upended the tractor. Didn't blow a tire yet (knock on wood), which seem to be as old as the tractor ('83).
Have had no trouble w/curling the bucket. I guess they've eliminated that bug. I;ve thot about a tooth bar, but am presenly more interested in some sort of rock bucket that I can afford. My future garden is full of rocks & tree roots, so it will be a real challenge. Rock bucket & forks are why I was inquiring about other attachments to fit the qwik-tach arms. I have a box-blade to help with the ripping, though I've already stopped the little Yanny dead w/a small stump. I finally dug around it pretty well with my subsoiler (brains over brawn) and was able to rip it out. I wish I'd bid on the little Case 310 that went for about $1000. I better go now, leave some room for someone else.

Here is woodcarvers bucket level indicator I built for him and if you notice he has the V2a I guess the "a" is the designator on the QA model its a nice loader btw.

I am not aware of any attachments being available now but I guarantee I could (and probably will) build something. If it didn't happen to follow any known standard being built now that is so anyone could just a matter of doing it.

Car Doc:
Sure enough, I checked some photos, and mine is also a V2a. The quik-tach looks to be simple to use (and sturdy), just two pins.
I do like the bucket level indicator. It looks simple and sturdy. I hope you won't mind if I build one similar, as, with my short experience, it will really help to know what my bucket is doing. Thanx, RacinJason

Oh absolutely RacinJason feel free to use them or anything else you see on here thats is what we are here for have any questions fire away!

I agree it is a simple attachment system and should be fairly simple to make stuff to fit I think anyway and the bucket sure would come off quick!
