I finally got my camera. A while back I told some folks I would post a few photos of the HJ-2 60" bucket installed on my Kubota B2910. I'll send them up in successive posts with attachments. Let me know if you want to see any other views.

Shows the mounting of the solenoid valve. Later I plan to shorten the hoses a bit to tidy things up. Had to loop them as they are the original hoses that went to the steel cylinder tubes.

More plumbing. When I ordered the tractor in January I had them install a "3 position bucket dump" valve...special order from Kubota. It adds a second non-regenerative bucket dump position. The regen dump position is still maintained when the fel handle is in the extreme right position. In other words there are two dump positions right of "center" handle position. First is non-regen, second is regen (fast--but no power) dump. There is a detent that is pretty easy to feel between the two.

Last photo unless more requests (I err on the side of boring some, I am sure...but Long does not have a web site and I shure wished I could have seen a few more photos before I bought mine)
This is a shot of the optionl tooth bar. It may be confusing because it is laying across the top of the bucket. The steel bar the teeth are welded to 1/2" thick. As is the bottom side of the optional wear bar mounted on the front shown here.

Very nice job with the photos, Bill. Thanks for going out of your way to provide detail on the product.

Bill,

Thanks very much for your efforts. I'm interested in a 4-in-1 bucket, and this kind of info is invaluable - a perfect example of how useful this forum is.

Excellent photo spread, Bill. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Good quality pictures and a lot of information therein. Like Dave (Caretaker) says, you really add value to this message board.

I absolutely love your bucket, but even if I had the bucks I'm not sure if I would get one for myself. I seriously want the functionality you're getting with the 4-in-1, wear bar and tooth bar, but all of that is more weight than I feel like I can afford to give up. My little L has an LB400 loader, rated at 882 pounds of lift capacity. Do you know how much heavier your setup is than the standard Kubota bucket? My own bucket weighs 181 pounds.

Hmmmm ... Now that I look at it, my manual gives separate specs for the loader and the bucket. Does that mean the 882 lb loader capacity is already diminished by the weight of the bucket, so my maximum payload is already down to 701 pounds?

I might just be trying to rationalize why I can't get the 4-in-1, but I'd be interested in some hard numbers. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
