Definitely, and usually in BDUs or camos, like guerillas.

I am not a big fan of our militarized LEOs either. That power has gone to their heads in a lot of areas. A gun and a badge and a big ego don't mix well.

You must be a saint. Five girls in one house...then puberty...then boyfriends...

I have trouble dealing with one female in the house.
For several years I referred to my daughter as the "Rabid She Beast"

Grocery stores have stopped publishing circulars, allegedly because they can't guarantee stock levels of promotional items.

Meanwhile, I noticed my Peach tree got knocked up. I guess Buzz and his pals had fun.

We still get them...

Last week was the big sale on paper products... toilet paper, paper towels and napkins...

Thought it was a joke... tempted to go in and ask for rain checks but didn't.

Also lots of Easter stuff, but not much on the shelves.

To they carry guns?

In Indiana the are called Conservation Officers and they work for the Department of Natural Resources. They are law enforcement officers, they carry guns, and it's one of the more dangerous jobs in law enforcement, as bubba the poacher is usually armed, drinking, or on meth. Not only do they deal with wildlife related law, they help in K9, search and rescue, boating law enforcement, traffic enforcement, etc.... pretty much anything the state police, county police, or city police do in addition to wildlife law enforcement. They also conduct educational classes and other PR stuff. Generally, they are great folks. They keep an eye on my place when in the area. They once stopped my in-laws on my property. Asked them if they had permission to be there. They were cutting firewood. :)

Thanks Moss. Makes total sense.

Thanks  but I'm a long way from a saint.
Luckily we live in a very rural area, most of the families know the other families or know someone that does.
On top of that when the girls would talk about some one when you lean back and ask if they are from this branch or that,
is so and so their father or uncle it slows some hanky panky down. And on top of that all my girls knew how to shot and some enjoyed shooting.
Then to top it off one of them had a scum bag start sniffing around, when that got over and done with and we had a nice little talk he decided to move.
Some times it helps to be at that time an in decent shape 240 pound gun toting Marine :dance1::drink:
