Maybe a dumb question but what is the most comfortable concealed carry holster for an old fat guy? I normally carry a Charter Arms Bulldog 44 Spl with a 3" barrel in a leather belt holster. I seldom wear Big Boy pants these days because they are uncomfortable and to constricting. Attire now is Usually Sweats or light weight knits. Neither utilize a belt.
My Ruger LCP came with a simple nylon pocket holster. It is as easy to carry as a wallet or cellphone, regardless of your weight. Even if I'm wearing a pair of sweatpants or gym shorts, I find that it works well.
I only do dry fire practice of my draw with a pocket holster. I think that having the gun on my belt in a regular holster is better and safer, but the convenience factor for EDC is nice with the pocket holster.
