Wallet Holster

The LCP also has a long, stiff pull on the trigger (as do most DAO handguns). As I wrote, in a quick pull under stress, that long stiff pull could be overcome quite easily. It's a neat design...QUOTE]

For me, any problems with that long stiff pull is overcome by training and practice. All, I hope, know what happens if one "jerks" a trigger while firing a weapon. Instead, with this weapon, one learns how far back on the trigger to "pull" steadily, take aim, and then squeeze off the shot. Practice finding that "squeeze point" and making the knowledge instinctive develops a very useful and quite accurate weapon at close range.

NO one would not put anything over the end of the barrel to keep it clean. Roy is right about a daily cleaning or at the most on a regular timely basis. For me, I find the time waiting for my wife to go in the store and get our 2 or 3 times a week errand run over with a perfect time to do this maintenance. Often, I will just roll up a paper napkin and run it down the end of the barrel while twisting a bit.

One thing about these weapons is that they are totally simple and easy to break down. The bullet that one ejects from the chamber to clear the weapon is used to pry out one pin and then the whole thing comes apart with a twist of the hands........Easy.....Blowing out dust and crud is then a nothing job...........

Again, for me, this holster allows me to KNOW that while going into Walmart or into the local meth supply house, the corner milk and bread store, that I will be prepared for what problems may be brought out by individuals that may want something that I have..............God bless..........Dennis

This is the holster that has been recommended to me by several people, I have not yet purchased but plan to at some point. Uncle Georges Wallet Holsters That it's a small one person business seems an attraction for whatever reason. :D

Just an additional suggestion - during the warm weather when I don't want to carry my Glock 38 off duty, I carry my Ruger LCP. I use a Bulldog "Cell Phone Holster" and I really like it. It looks like a nylon case for a Blackberry or other large cell phone, nobody notices it at all.

I bought it at Cabelas for around $19. The pistol rides in the holster upside down. There are holes in the bottom where you poke a finger and it flips the pistol up into your hand. All the other gun experts out there may not like it, but I've been an LEO for over 37 years so I've had a little experience carrying a pistol without people knowing about it.

on my wallet holster.. you just one finger and thumb it out, no finger tugging on the trigger hole.

You all know the bottom line here. I'm just glad to live in a place where I do not have to carry a weapon to feel safe.

The story that you're quoting doesn't say she was carrying. But you are right in that you can not carry at the P.O.
Even a pocket knife can be a no-no.

One of my carry options is a Keltec P3AT in a Bianchi 152 pocket holster. They seem to be discontinued, but I've seen them from time to time, look on Ebay. I carry it in my right front pocket.

Maybe a dumb question but what is the most comfortable concealed carry holster for an old fat guy? I normally carry a Charter Arms Bulldog 44 Spl with a 3" barrel in a leather belt holster. I seldom wear Big Boy pants these days because they are uncomfortable and to constricting. Attire now is Usually Sweats or light weight knits. Neither utilize a belt.

I know you are not all Slim Pickings. What do you more rotund men use for concealed carry?
