Tractor
Rk55
I have an RK 55 of 100 hours. My hydraulics are messed up my arms do not lift unless the a lever engaged in forward or rear position.

Call the Farmington location they told me to bring it in and they’ll take a look at it and get back with me. Mechanic seems like a nice guy just doesn’t wanna say anything as I understand. Corporate is CYA.

Yes, yes I know I bought an RK tractor. Lesson learned, but I need some help. Could someone please share their lesson learned experience with warranty work and repairs through Rural King? I don’t wanna be waiting six months for someone to finally find a file a claim. How can I make the system work for me?

For instance, who do I talk to in Corporate to get something done looked at in a timely manner?

Any thoughts comments, suggestions contacts? Would be much appreciated. I don’t mind picking up the tractor taking it to a different store. I just like to get this done and be moved on as I need the tractor as a season and they told me they didn’t give me a loaner.

Are you talking about the arms on the front end loader or 3 point hitch? Did this just start or has it been an issue from the start?

3 point hitch, from the start.

Was this tractor bought new? Can you tell if there was anything added to the hydraulic system? Like a 3rd function in the loader?

It was brought brand new, I added a third function and a backhoe.

Speaking to the mechanic this morning, they’re gonna try to install a new valve assembly. The backhoe was always attached to the B port. He said it should be attached to the a Port. But the a port does not work. He suspects it was been wrong from the factory and rather than someone fixing it there they just attach the B port and sent it out. If that doesn’t work, he said they’re gonna change out the entire control valve assembly…..

Glad you got some response. Hopefully it will be a quick fix and you can get back to the field.
