I must also confess to polishing my tractor.Although I don't use wax any more I switched to a polymer product from Zaino Bros. Here's the link http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc I find it superior to wax in ease, durability and shine.I use it on our vehicles and now use it on my tractor.

I got one of those too. I don't mean the tractor, I have a "kubby, I mean the sled trailer. It's got 2 cats inside (a t'cat and a 440 for my wife)!!

F350Lawman:

I wax my Ford 350 with paste wax about twice a year but I use hot spray wax on everything else including the tractors. Because I wash so many different tractors and implements, 3 years ago I went out and bought an Alladin 3500 psi Diesel fired pressure washer. I bought an industrial model from a local outfit that supplies the auto makers. They also sell chemicals. First I was the units down with a product called Fleetwash. Then I rinse and then I apply the hot spray wax. After I am done, I towel off the glass and the paint and the tractors look like new. The spray wax is a silocone base so it tends to make the finish slippery. Makes the bucket very easy to clean. I think if my wife caught me waxing the inside of the bucket, she would make an appointment with the doctor for me!!

I had a couple of those pressure washers that Northern sells and you get at Lowes, but when they kack out, you can't get them fixed. The one I have now cost over 5K, but in three years all I have done is change the oil and clean the inlet strainer. If I ever need service, the company I bought it from will pick it up (it's heavy) and give me a loaner while it's being repaired.

Nice sled Daryl, although not tractor related I've got a Ski-Doo MXZ 800 in the trailer,a tad smaller than your t'cat. And yes I polish the crap out of that too.

Though not thread related either, I see you live in the White mountains. Someday I want to ride there, Michigan is boring. I'd need a good trail sled for there. The T'Cat is a lake racer. Maybe a REV would work. My buddy ordered one for next season. I'll have to try it out.
