Beliefs are a slippery slope to argue. When I was an atheist, it was easy to sign up to be an organ donor. When I accepted Christ, I never considered changing that decision.
This thread has made me think about that. We are to love others like we love ourselves. I cannot think of a more loving gift than saving the life of another, or making the life of another better when I no longer have a use for this sack of flesh and bones. God, as I know Him, does not value our bodies but our souls.
I realize this is a lot of thread drift but in my mind it is a more important topic than having a pissing contest over wearing helmets. On that subject, an adult should decide to do what they wish within the law.
Being in my late sixties, having more organ donors is not a bad thing. God does move in mysterious ways.
